Terry Davidson
Director of Christian Education & Music
I have been in full-time ministry in the Cumberland Presbyterian church for 44 years. My wife, Becky, and our children, Amy and Jonathan, moved to Jackson in 1994 to serve at First Cumberland Presbyterian.
Before coming to Jackson, I served the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Knoxville, TN, for 5.5 years, the Elmira Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Longview, TN, for 1.5 years, and the Margaret Hank Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Paducah, KY, for 7.5 years.
Becky is a retired Special Education Teacher in the Jackson-Madison County Schools. Our daughter Amy Morgan lives in Harriman, TN. Our son, Jonathan, lives in McKenzie, TN, with his wife, Lesley, and their children, Cooper and Callie. I grew up in the Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Clarksville, TN.
I received my music education/religious education from Austin Peay State University, Clarksville, TN, and Bethel College, now Bethel University, in McKenzie, TN. I have a deep passion for music and its role in our lives, as well as in religious education. I am gifted in many different areas of ministry. My musical gifts lead our congregation in worship, and my organizational abilities lead our Christian Education programs. I have a genuine passion for ministry and can be reached by calling the church office or emailing the church.
